We think that our guests can tell you more about ArtRoom than we ever could!

"What a beautiful location with views second to none. Denise and Bob were welcoming hosts without being intrusive. They were always friendly, with great tips on where to eat. At their suggestion we dined at the Edinbane Lodge which was honestly the best meal I have ever eaten. Sublime! Denise is a truly talented artist. Check out what’s on offer in her studio. Accommodation was tastefully appointed with everything needed for a week’s holiday. We are already coming back next year" Kerry

"I could not have expected the absolute kindness and above-and-beyond hosting that Denise and Bob offered during my trip to Skye. Not only is the location absolutely stunning- the room warm and cosy, providing everything I could need- they suggested some wonderful places to visit and we even had a lovely walk together. As a solo traveller, the offered company was really appreciated! I could have stayed there for far longer. What a magical time!" Livvy

"The Art Room is a beautiful, stylish accommodation, with all the amenities you could think of ... and more. Denise and Bob were great hosts, very welcoming and full of local knowledge. The view towards the Hebrides is something we could never tire of, and all within walking distance of a great local pub. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and really can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough" Kate

"We loved staying at the ArtRoom. It looks great in the photos but is even better in person - beautifully furnished, full of thoughtful touches (like water bottles and homemade shortbread), all the amenities you could ever need (like coffee machine, milk frother, tin foil, thermos flasks), and with the most amazing view from Denise and Bob’s garden - perfect for watching the sunset and spotting eagles. Denise and Bob were full of great recommendations. The location is great - walking distance to The Stein Inn for a waterside evening drink, and a great base to explore Skye from. We wouldn’t think twice about recommending to all our friends" George

"Really lovely accommodation! Newly furnished and decorated to a really high standard, really well equipped (coffee machine, guide books etc) and some lovely personal touches (bottle of wine, biscuits). Very well located with beautiful views. Peaceful but within walking distance to local pub and cafe. Great hosts who are helpful but also respect privacy. Would thoroughly recommend"  Lucy

"The ArtRoom is a truly idyllic bolthole for two. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts Bob and Denise and enjoyed a freshly brewed cup of coffee with them while overlooking the stunning Loch Bay from the private garden. They were most helpful in suggesting places to visit and to dine, nothing was too much trouble.

The accommodation was excellent, with a modern vibe and personalised with Denise's lovely artworks. Milk and wine were stocked in the fridge and homemade biscuits awaited us. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful sights in the area, such as Neist Point, Dunvegan Castle, Coral Beach and, further afield, the Fairy Pools at the foot of the Cuillins. It was a pretty stroll to the local pub in the village of Stein for a delicious meal inside or outside in the beer garden. The village also has the award winning Loch Bay Restaurant.

We loved staying at the ArtRoom and cannot recommend the hosts and their accommodation highly enough. We look forward to our next visit" Alan
