Hi, I'm Denise.
Welcome to my ArtSpace
I'm an artist, designer and printmaker with a passion for the natural world.
Currently, I am setting up a new studio after moving south to be closer to family.
After a complex and lengthy 'house move from hell' . . I was reluctantly forced to take a break as my work and equipment was in storage over 300 miles away.
Originally to be for 2 weeks which stretched to over 4 months. Not in the plan at all!!
Apologies to all the folk who struggled to find me.
Now however, myself, my husband and Pepe the cat have recently settled into a small cottage in a delightful Cumbrian village.
Previous to 15 years on the Isle of Skye, I was a college lecturer with a background in art, textiles and interior design, I exhibited extensively and my work has featured in magazines and television.
My work is influenced by my spectacular surroundings. Currently, I create original artwork using printmaking techniques, often a combination of monoprint, collagraph and silkscreen.
Art is for sale on the website or visitors can visit when my studio is complete.

ECO CREDENTIALS - This is a tiny micro business; so we have complete control over all our practices. From the initial concept . . through numerous drawing, painting and hand printing processes . . mounting and framing . . until it leaves the studio and eventually arrives at your door . . we endeavour to buy, use and re-use eco products. wherever possible. We try to re-cycle everything else. WE AVOID SINGLE USE PLASTICS AT ALL COST.
