'Complications' was inspired one day when I was taking a brief rest from a busy schedule. Sitting outside the cottage with a cuppa, listening to the cuckoo.
The sketches and observations of that day fed the process which inspired this silkscreenprint.
'Although it is a lengthy process, a personal approach is very important to me. I spend endless hours translating my drawings into artwork, suitable for the technique. My design is finally exposed on to the silkscreen before the sampling starts. Extensive sampling, selecting and rejecting is undertaken before I can start to hand print the design onto specialist art paper. I print with eco friendly water based inks on quality 100% cotton paper.'
