FINE ART SILKSCREEN PRINTS
A fine art silkscreen print is a hand printed work of art. Its' origins are found in Japanese fabric decoration, dating back thousands of years. The techniques were adopted by graphic artists in the 1930s and popularised by Pop artists such as Andy Warhol in the 1960s.

As with all printmaking, each print takes time, care and skill to produce. It will have individual variations, marks, imperfections and character lines and carries the touch of the artists’ hand. These will occur naturally through the printmaking process and print as an individual and original work of art.
